Retirement Alert: congratulations to Sgt John Dunckhorst on his well deserved retirement. After nearly 27 years of service dedicated to the citizens of Nevada, Sgt John Dunckhorst is retiring from Nevada State Police Investigation Division. John started his career as a Trooper before he transferred to NDI.

NPU President Dan Gordon was honored to present John with some retirement recognition gifts from Nevada Police Union (formerly known as - Nevada Highway Patrol Association). John is one of the longest members of NPU and was around when it was NHPA. John was presented with his retirement plaque, the Nevada Police Union “Presidents coin #48), and a beautiful engraved Citizen watch. Now he has no excuse for being late for a tee time.

Let’s all congratulate John on a spectacular career and we thank you for your service. Enjoy your well deserved retirement.
