What’s the buzz? Washoe Conservation Nursery will be closed May 22 and 23 due to staffing shortages, but is still otherwise open through June 6, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Come see us for native and adapted trees and plants! We will post an updated plant list on our website soon. Open hours are 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Happy Earth Day from Washoe Conservation Nursery! Maybe a day late, but every day is Earth Day, after all! It’s time to plant, so come out for our opening weekend, April 30th through May 2, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We will be open through the month of May every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There’s still time to shop at Washoe Nursery, and it’s not too late to plant yet! We’re open for one more weekend, October 9-11, from 9:30 to 3:00 each day. Select conifers, deciduous trees, hardy shrubs, bunch grasses, and other perennials are still available. Hope to see you there!

Happy Autumnal Equinox! Here’s a peek at some of the available plants at Washoe State Nursery. We’re open for the next three weeks, no appointments needed. Come shop with us Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9:30am to 3:00pm, through October 11th. It’s a great time to plant before the cold!
