🤝Support our Students!!!

🪏Agricultural Mechanics students at Carson High School have been hard at work gaining a hands on education!

🌱Student projects will be sold at the CHS Holiday Craft Fair Friday (11/14) 4-8pm and Saturday (11/15) 9am-4pm at Carson High School to help support Our Ag Mech pathway and Capitol FFA Chapter! Take a look at SOME of the student projects that will be up for grabs!

The Greenhouse Project has stepped up to be a second drop-off site for dry goods for the annual Charlie Abowd Memorial Turkey and Food Drive!

If you are able and wanting to support our community this season, we are accepting donations at Green Central, located on Carson High School’s campus.
1111 N Saliman Road, behind the bus yard.

Hours are Tues - Fri, Nov 4th through Nov 25th from 8am to 4pm. KNVC is accepting donations 24/7 through Nov 27th.

WOW what a week! Capitol FFA had a blast at State Convention this year! Here is a recap!

-17 students attended State Convention and competed in 7 different contests
-Melanie Burnett got elected as the 2024-2025 Nevada FFA State Reporter! We are so excited to see how she grows and serves our state organization!!
-Nursery and Landscape: Team won state and is going to Nationals!! Max Bushey (2nd High Individual), Lauren Davis, Eddy Fonseca (4th High Individual), and Arissa Hughey (1st High Individual) have been working hard to perfect their skills and we are incredibly proud of them.
-Meats Evaluation and Technology: 5th in the State
-Max Bushey served the State as our representative for the Nominating Committee
-3 students (Ella Dooley, Gloria Dooley, and Alex Nerska) served as Delegates on the State Delegate Committee
-Horse Evaluation: Alex Nerska placed 6th individually

Congrats to all for your hard work! If you see these students, please make sure to congratulate them!
