💙 We are so grateful to welcome the Estelle J. Kelsey Foundation as a new supporter of Eagle Valley Children’s Home!

Their generous grant will help strengthen families through our Respite Program, providing essential support to families caring for loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Respite gives caregivers something every family needs: time to rest, recharge, attend to other family needs, and simply catch their breath—knowing their loved one is in caring hands.

When we support caregivers, we strengthen families. And when we strengthen families, we strengthen our entire community.

💙 Water is good therapy.

This summer, some of our Eagle Valley kiddos had the opportunity to spend time at beautiful Lake Tahoe—feeling the water, soaking up the sunshine, exploring, laughing, and simply enjoying a day of being a kid. 🌊☀️

For the people we serve, experiences like these can be so much more than a fun day out. Water can provide sensory experiences, movement, relaxation, connection, and meaningful opportunities to build confidence and independence.

These are the moments that become memories.
These are the moments that matter.
And you make moments like these possible. 💙

💬 GALA Q&A: Your Top Questions, Answered! 💬

As we get closer to our Heart, Hope & Home 80th Anniversary Gala, we’re answering a few questions we’ve been hearing:

✨ Is this a formal event? It’s going to be a beautiful celebration, and while some guests may want to dress up, formal attire isn’t required. Cocktail attire is recommended.

✨ Do I have to attend the gala to participate in the silent auction? No! Online bidding opens October 14 and is open to the community. You just need to register to participate.

✨ Is this a sit-down dinner? No. Enjoy delicious savory bites along with a featured chocolate and w**e tasting experience.

✨ Is this a fundraiser? Yes! This special evening celebrates 80 years of care, compassion, and community while raising support for the children and adults of Eagle Valley Children’s Home. Guests will have opportunities to give through the live auction, silent auction, and Fund-a-Need.
