Good Saturday Morning CASA Fans ~
While I do spy a little bit of sunshine ☀️ creeping through those clouds 🌥️, our mountains are still nothing short of a Winter ❄️ Wonderland.
Today is the perfect day to give thanks and spotlight not just ONE but TWO amazing community partners whom continue to go above and beyond in supporting our children in foster care.
First, CASA of Carson City would like to express our ongoing appreciation and a long, large, hearty THANK YOU to the wonderful individuals at the Carson Valley Quilt Guild. This local nonprofit is dedicated to advancing quilting as an art form through education.
There are workshops, get togethers and all of those beautiful quilts that roll our our CASA doors on the regular for our children in the community. They have been an ongoing supporter of CASA and the children herein for many years. Each quilt is lovingly crafted, sumptuously soft and just beautiful.
We thank you. The children thank you. You bring such joy to all.

Second, CASA of Carson City wants to give a great big shout out to the wonderful members of the Carson Valley NV Sertoma for their Annual Coat Drive. Each year, this amazing organization (in partnership with FISH (Friends in Service Helping) ) works with local businesses and community members in collecting jackets, hats, mittens and more, for those in need within our surrounding communities. The Sertoma name means......SERvice TO MAnkind and the local operation has been in service since 1978! That's amazing. We truly could not be more grateful to your ongoing support to the community and our children in care. This winter, especially with all this current snow, our kiddos are blessed with warm, cozy jackets and we are truly honored to work along side you.
We thank you. The children thank you. You bring exuberance to us all.
