The Legacy Airbase T6 Joining our sister fleet, Dream Flights for the Spirit of 45 Event! Was a great day of flying Veterans and "Giving Back to those who Gave."

Life's full circle moments are always noteworthy.
Here, Darryl Fisher, the founder of both Dream Flights & Legacy Airbase takes his initial flight instructor up for a flight noting the following;

"Allan, was my private and instrument flight instructor. He and I had not flown together in the same airplane for over 40 years! Needless to say he has had a profound effect on Dream Flights and Legacy in getting me started out correctly."

We Thank you Allan, your student has touched the lives of over 8,000 Veterans with his unselfish pursuit to "Give Back to those who Gave."

If you are in or around the Carson City Nevada area this weekend, come on out to the Carson City Airport as Legacy Airbase flies The Fern 45 Veterans & a few other local Vets.
Carson City Airport has opened their Terminal to us so come out, see the airplane, meet the pilot and most importantly, help us honor our Veterans in this 250th Year Birthday Celebration of our Nation.

While flying Veterans continues to be our mission, we also enjoy sharing the continued success & service of our Veterans after their time in the Military.

We had the honor of flying Matt Simmons this past week during the Dayton Airshow. Matt's commitment to service is truly remarkable:

- Military Service: Served in the Navy for 4 years.
- Community Service: Has served as a Firefighter & Paramedic for 27 years.
- Non-Profit Leadership: Founded Camp Honor, a non-profit dedicated to taking Veterans into the outdoors.
