Wonder what a T6 Looks like in the Air?

Here is a look at the Legacy Airbase T6 being filmed by Brian Corbett, the Partnership Coordinator for the Dream Flights team. The T6 is being piloted by our founder, Darryl Fisher.
Flying the Mustang is none other than our "Professor," Darren Bond who truly can fly anything with wings!

Legacy Airbase was born from the greatness of Dream Flights. Together, our mission remains the same, honor the Veteran.

On May 4, 2026, in Chico, CA, we had the honor of flying Tanner Swift, age 40 — a U.S. Army / National Guard CW4 with an incredible 23 years of service. Tanner completed two Iraq deployments and served as a UH‑60 MEDEVAC pilot, bringing lifesaving skill and courage to every mission. We are grateful for his dedication and proud to celebrate him today.

On 5/4/26, we welcomed Cedric Rucker in Chico, CA for his Dream Flight. A U.S. Marine Corps E‑5 with 8 years of service, Cedric served in both Desert Storm and Mogadishu, carrying experiences that shaped his strength and character. It was an honor to celebrate him today. Thank you, Cedric, for your service and sacrifice.

On May 4, 2026, in Chico, CA, we had the honor of flying Bryan Jeffers, age 36 — a U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant with 6 years of dedicated service. Bryan deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, loading weapons on the A‑10, and later spent 2.5 years at Osan Air Base in South Korea as an A‑10 mechanic. Thank you, Bryan, for your skill, service, and commitment to our nation.

On May 4, 2026, in Chico, CA, we had the honor of flying Harry Davis, age 37 — a U.S. Navy E‑6 with 9 years of dedicated service aboard the USS Wasp. Harry earned the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal and was proudly named Most Interesting Sailor of the Day. Thank you, Harry, for your service, your stories, and your incredible spirit.

Dream Flights is unveiling its 8th restored Stearman biplane—the Spirit of Texas—and launching a nine-city tour to honor WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans across Texas.

In Georgetown, we’ll begin by honoring two members of the Greatest Generation, including a 104-year-old aviator who flew nighttime missions during the Battle of the Bulge.
