Carrsville History Museum - CCA Come see our quaint little town chock full of rich history.

“Down by the Riverside” the Carrsville History Museum is located in the old Methodist Church building donated to the Carrsville Community Assoc., Inc by Dorris Hutchison & Roger Dale Morris. The Carrsville Historical Museum was started as an idea to preserve the history of Carrsville and it's people. Many have worked to demonstrate our town by collecting historical items and knowledge from our community. Roger Dale Morris and Dorris Hutchison donated funds and the old Methodist Church building to ensure Carrsville’s legacy would live on forever.

An article from the Livingston Ledger on the blacksmith shop turned hair salon that is still in operation to this day.

“The shop was first erected by once a hardworking Mr. Buck Sullivan well over fifty years ago; and, he being the talented blacksmith. He was well renowned for being one of the best in the area, keeping his business strong even into his eighties. The art and skill remained a passion of his until his passing, as was reminisced by several local clients patronizing the hair salon today; and whom were once customers of Mr. Sullivan's services.”
