City of Carrsville, Kentucky "Down By The River Side"

The City of Carrsville, Kentucky is located on the northern end of Livingston County and began as a river town in the 1800's.

Carrsville was incorporated on March 31, 1860. Carrsville was once populated by over 900 people and was a stop for the river boats to pick up and drop off goods and livestock. At one time, Carrsville had several stores, a bank, it own phone office and a hotel. After the 37 flood and two fires, Carrsville's population drop to approximately 60.

Havenā€™t seen a flyer yet but the Carrsville Community Association will be selling BBQ, hamburgers and hot dogs starting at 6 pm on the 27th before the Carrsville fireworks. Everyone needs to come out and eat before the show!
