Thanksgiving Day Soup Kitchen With local support, we provide food and clothing to CFB families all year. The community at large comes together to make this happen.

Joe's Pizzas biggest event, an annual Thanksgiving Day soup kitchen serves 5,000 turkey dinners. Annually we provide gently used items and food support to 20,000 plus locals in need. Children in our school district, veterans, refugees, Senior citizens and teen moms have our heart. Serving local people from Carrollton-Farmers Branch a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day is our annual tradition. Donations

and volunteers are needed beginning September 5th through Thanksgiving Day. Our Budget is $8 per plate. Monetary donations can be made through our donate link on this page or our website, joespizzasubs.com

The following items are needed and can be dropped off during open hours 10 am-9 pm:
1,000 gallon zip lock freezer bags
200 rolls of foil
2,000 half aluminum pans and lids
500 full aluminum pans and lids
4,000 3 parts styrofoam trays
8,000 plasticware packets
8,000 6 inch styrofoam containers for pie
500 20x20 boxes for meal deliveries
4,000 plastic bags for individual meal delivery
500 frozen turkeys-cut off Nov 20
250 5 pound bags corn meal-by Nov 20
300 boxes potato flakes-by Nov. 20
2,000 cans corn-by Nov 20
2,000 cans of green beans-by Nov 20
500 cans cranberry sauce-by Nov 20
750 pumpkin pies-the week of Thanksgiving only
650 dozen rolls-the week of Thanksgiving only
150 lbs of butter-the week of Thanksgiving only
100 gallons of milk-the week of Thanksgiving

CARROLLTON, TEXAS

H-E-B BRINGS MASSIVE $24 MILLION SUPERSTORE AND FUEL HUB TO CARROLLTON
The grocery landscape in Denton County is officially expanding as H-E-B registers a massive two-part construction project. Representing a combined estimated cost of $24,000,000 across a 17.2 acre tract, this development will serve as the city's very first H-E-B location. The project is split into two major phases running concurrently. The primary anchor is a $22,800,000, 121,228-square-foot main store that will feature a restaurant, a drive-thru pharmacy, and dedicated curbside pickup zones. Rounding out the site is a dedicated $1,200,000, 900-square-foot fuel station and car wash facility. Approved by the Carrollton City Council earlier this year after securing commitments for major traffic improvements, this massive project is slated to break ground in August 2026, with a target completion date of November 2027.
