Giving Heart's Client Choices Pantry is hosting a Poppin Popcorn Fundraiser through November 3, 2026

Proceeds from our Poppin' Popcorn Fundraiser will help cover essential operating expenses, purchase food, and support the growing number of neighbors who depend on our services.

As a nonprofit organization funded entirely through donations and grants, we depend on the generosity of people like you to keep our doors open, our shelves stocked, and nutritious food available to those facing difficult times.

Every purchase makes a difference, and together, we can continue "ADDRESSING COMMUNITY HUNGER ONE STEP AT A TIME."

Thank you for helping us turn something as simple as popcorn into hope for our community!

THANK YOU, TROJAN NATION!

On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Carrollton City Schools Varsity Football Team – Trojan Nation held its annual Blackout Hunger event, and for the second year in a row, Giving Hearts Client Choice Pantry was honored to be the recipient.

Giving Hearts provided Coach Zach Gordon with a list of the most-needed pantry items, and those attending the game were encouraged to bring an item with their ticket for admission.

Although severe storms moved through the area throughout the day and rain continued off and on before and during the game, the weather did not stop this community's generosity.

Volunteers were stationed at three points of entry to collect donations as guests arrived, and because of that incredible support, 896 much-needed pantry items were donated to Giving Hearts. Each donation will help us continue serving individuals and families in our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Carrollton High School football program, Trojan Nation, and the entire community for supporting this effort. We are especially grateful to Coach Zach Gordon, Coach Joey King, Coach Dusty Phillips, and Coach Nate Masters for helping make this event possible.

We also want to give a special thank you to Keep Carroll Beautiful volunteers Martyna Griffin and Michael, and the Carroll EMC volunteers Rolando Benitez, Taylor Key, Ryan Sammon, and Katie Mae, for their support and volunteer participation in this event.

To everyone who gave, served, and showed up despite the weather—thank you.

Your generosity will directly help Giving Hearts continue its mission of serving those facing food insecurity in our community.

896 Items Donated.
