For those in Covid group 1B, the Dallas VA Med Ctr. is providing Pfizer vaccinations. If you have a VA card, you should receive, a call from the staff to schedule an appointment. If you don't hear from them, call the main number. The shots are being administered at the spinal cord injury gymnasium. It is fast, easy and being managed very well.

We have lost two good friends in the last two days. Jon Lunkwicz passed away from heart disease Saturday and Tim Herrel passed away today from complications from covid. Prayers are requested for their families.

AL Post 597 is in need for sponsors for the Annual Golf tournament scheduled for October 28th. If you know of someone that might contribute as a hole sponsor, please solicit them and let me know. Hole sponsorships are $50 and $100.
