Recently, the Hope Team has been ministering to a group of Afghani refugees in Pakistan. While there, a man named Abdul shared his story of how he and his family came to faith and fled to the refugee camp after experiencing horrible persecution. They left behind everything they knew, including a thriving tailoring shop.

Thanks to your faithful support, the Hope Team helped Abdul and his family find a secure place to live and even worked with Abdul to establish a new tailoring business!

With your help this Christmas season, the impact of showing the love of Jesus will go twice as far!

The next two Sundays, November 7th and 14th, are days set aside as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Even with persecution on the rise and the pandemic adding additional challenges, believers in South Asia continue to boldly proclaim their faith in Christ.

COVID Relief Continues in South Asia!
Restrictions from the second devastating wave of COVID-19 have begun to ease, and your prayers and support have allowed the Hope Team to share the love of Jesus with those who are suffering.

Your generosity helped over 2,500 Rag Pickers and Slums Dwellers receive food support, 80 children receive soy milk twice a week, nearly 60 pastors and their widows receive financial aid and urgent medical needs, and provided over 1,500 ten-day food supply packs to rural pastors and their families who have been greatly affected by the church shutdowns.

In many parts of the world, women have limited access to education. Our Hope for Today Alpha Vocational Training Centers seek to change the plight of women’s lives by teaching them valuable sewing and tailoring skills. Last year, as the COVID-19 pandemic hit and halted all in-person classes, these centers made a crucial pivot to teaching women English online.
