Official page of Carrollton, Texas Boy Scout Troop 753 We have been serving Carrollton, Texas and surrounding areas for over 25 years!

We are a boy led Troop preparing Boys ages 11-17 to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Camp is Home---It is here that the skills and activities practiced at troop meetings come alive with purpose. The outdoors is Troop 753's laboratory, where Scouts practice leadership, build character, share responsibilities, and learn the value of teamwork.

Adult volunteers play a crucial role in the Scouting program, ensuring the health and safety of our scouts. This past weekend, Nick M began his Eagle project, rebuilding a shed at Nor'kirk Presbyterian. A few Troop 753 adults assisted Nick in completing the roof late Sunday night. Appreciation is extended to Mr. Estes, Mr. Passmore, Mr. Lauersdorf, and Mr. Bowes!

A few weeks ago Darren completed his Eagle Project. The project demonstrates the Scout's ability to lead others while performing a project to benefit others. Hope Hebron Valley students enjoy their new 9 Square game for years to come!

Last night Troop 753 gathered to celebrate Eagle Scout #84 Gareth. As Scoutmaster Taylor reminded us Eagle Scouts have many benefits but also great responsibilities. "Looking forward to voting for you one day Gareth!"- Mr. O

This month, the boys and girls of Troop 753 participated in a climbing activity. We would like to express our gratitude to our leaders for undertaking the necessary training, enabling the troop to engage in such experiences.

Troop 753 is a youth led program. This month the girls and boys troop both decided to go deep sea fishing and to visit Johnson Space Center.

Webelos and Arrow of Lights, join Troop 753 for our 2nd annual campout. There will be activities to help scouts complete their requirements and the best part for parents.....you get to sit back and live the good life with our rocking chair patrol drinking the coffee while the magic happens.

Troop 753 had their annual Trail to First Class (TFC) campout this weekend. On this campout we introduce our first-year scouts and parents to Troop 753. They learn about our troop equipment, camp setup and work on requirements. It is a fun time welcoming our TFCs to Troop 753 and teaching them how to camp with Troop 753!
