Friends of Furneaux Creek Nature Trail A nonprofit community organization located in Carrollton, TX enhancing and improving the greenbelt along Furneaux Creek and the Blue Line Trail.

Friends of Furneaux Creek Association is a volunteer group, allowing friends, families and neighbors to take an active part in beautifying and enhancing the greenbelt of the City of Carrollton's Blue Trail (TEXAS). Activities include planned community events, plant and bird identification, building bird houses, fun for kids, volunteer work days and monthly meetings with educational presentations b

enefiting your home and community. Watch for future scheduled events here. Friends of Furneaux Creek is a city-approved, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Join Friends of Furneaux Creek with an annual contribution of $10 per family. Annual memberships are still $10 for your entire family! You can use Zelle to pay membership dues...simply sign into your bank account (if they offer Zelle) and click on the Zelle button or you can sign into the Zelle app. Then search for FoFC by the email [email protected]. It should display a screen asking if you want to pay Friends of Furneaux Creek. Enter the amount you want to give and hit send. Thanks for contributing! This helps us to maintain the trail and add to its natural beauty and your enjoyment of it.

Every year, you have an opportunity to contribute to the efforts of the Friends of Furneaux Creek. Starting TODAY, Sept. 1, the time of giving back is available through the North Texas Giving Day website at https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/friendsoffurneauxcreek. It is open through Sept. 19.

With the funds that you provide, we are able to purchase plants and supplies to continue upkeep of the Nature Trail along Furneaux Creek by adding and maintaining native trees, bushes, and flowers, gardening supplies, and purchasing lawn maintenance equipment.

North Texas Giving Day is the largest one-day giving event in the country. Donate from September 1 - 19!

BLUE TRAIL REPAIR NOTICE: The City of Carrollton will begin repairing erosion and drainage issues on the Blue Trail under Old Denton Rd. starting Wed., July 31 (weather permitting). A roughly 0.25-mile segment will be blocked to the public by barricades while workers begin grading & compaction. The closure is expected to last until Nov. Plan accordingly and seek alternative routes as needed. Explore Carrollton’s other 30+ miles of trails at cityofcarrollton.com/trails.
