We are just over 72 hours away! The day is nearly here to bring Ladder 1 home. This Wednesday around 5:50pm Ladder 1 will arrive in Carrollton with a police es**rt heading south on Canton Road, East on Main Street and through the square to the Village of Carrollton Safety Center. Feel free to set up a chair and welcome Ladder 1 home along the route. We want to offer a huge thank you to the Village Council, Mayor Stoneman, former Administrator Wells, and current Administrator Keihl and the residents for their support in this endeavor.

Another productive station clean-up night in the books! The trucks were washed and cleaned, while the station floors and apron were thoroughly cleaned and tidied up.

With the highly anticipated arrival of Ladder 1 getting closer, we’re making sure the station is clean, organized, and ready to welcome our newest apparatus. There is still plenty of work ahead as we prepare for the arrival, equipment setup, and training that will come with this exciting addition to our department.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out and put in the time and effort tonight. It takes a team to keep our station and equipment in top condition and ready to serve our community.

The excitement is building as we get ready for Ladder 1! 🚒🔥

Congratulations to Natalie Brooks for being sworn in last night to be a firefighter for the Carrollton Fire Department at the Village Council meeting. Natalie is the daughter of Captain Chris Brooks. Natalie is a 2026 graduate of Carrollton High School.

Since getting back from the fire truck inspection early this morning, the excitement is STILL going strong! 😂🚒🔥

After seeing the truck in person and going through the final inspection, it’s hard not to be excited about what’s finally coming to Carroll County. We’re getting closer and closer to finally having Ladder 1 here at the station! 🚨🙌
