📢 REMINDER: Furniture & Bulky Household Items‼️ Beginning Wednesday, July 1, furniture and other bulky household items will no longer be accepted at Carroll County Convenience Centers.
Instead, these items should be taken to the:
📍 Carroll County Transfer Station
439 Simonton Mill Road
🕗 Monday–Saturday
8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
✅ Furniture and bulky household items may be disposed of at the Transfer Station FREE OF CHARGE.
Regular household garbage service at the Convenience Centers is not changing on July 1st.

Annual Convenience Center passes will be available for purchase beginning October 1, 2026, through Carroll County Community Development.
• $50 Annual Household Pass
• $25 Annual Household Pass (Residents Age 65+)
A Convenience Center Pass will NOT be required until January 1, 2027.
Community Development will announce purchasing details prior to October 1, 2026.
These changes were approved by the Board of Commissioners following months of public discussion and have been shared with residents through public meetings, social media, local media, and the County website.
