We ❤️ mentoring but added some other giving elements this year to help kids understand the importance in giving back to their community.

Today, we went to The Madison on March nursing home facility to deliver Valentines to the residents. Such a great way to visit people in our community and show the kids that giving a little of their time can make a big difference.

The mission of Connecting the Community is to empower students to be their best selves. Jeff Sughrue is a beloved teacher in Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District for over 20 years and has been doing just that. He is an amazing teacher and coach, giving his all to educating our youth.

As he fights his own battle, CTC will fight along side him, his wife, Mina Rafat Sughrue, who is a kindergarten teacher at McCoy Elementary School and his daughter Halle Sughrue is a kinder teacher at Rainwater Elementary, and the rest of family, friends and the community.
