Carroll County CASA is an organization that recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who serve as legal advocates for children in foster care.

Mental health is not a side conversation in this work—it’s at the center of everything we do.

Today, on the square, leaders from PARC, the West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter, Carroll County CASA, and West Georgia Child Advocacy Center gathered.
Different missions, one reality: every child, every survivor, every family we serve is navigating trauma—and how we respond matters.

We can’t talk about safety, justice, or healing without talking about mental health. Showing up early, coordinating better, and surrounding families with the right support changes outcomes.

That’s what this partnership looks like.

This month—and every month—we’re committed to being part of the response that doesn’t just react, but helps people heal.
