Carrollton Rainbow is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in the Carrollton, GA & West Georgia area through community outreach, education, advocacy and engagement is a non-profit organization that hosts regular meetups and events in Carrollton, GA and the surrounding West Georgia area for fellowship with L

GBTQ+ and allies. Additionally, Carrollton Rainbow partners with local venues and restaurants in Carrollton, GA and other organizations to provide a calendar of fun things to do in Carrollton, GA and fun things to do in West Georgia. We host Q&As, ally-oriented workshops, and online guides to provide the best local LGBTQ+ resources possible as well as to create dialogue with the local community. Carrollton Rainbow believes that representation matters and participates annually in the Atlanta Pride Parade, UWG Homecoming Parade, Carrollton Christmas Parade, Carrollton Mayfest and Carrollton's 4th of July Parade. Our visibility allows others in the West Georgia LGBTQ+ community to live with confidence and pride and to celebrate our identity and shared cultural history.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from Carrollton Rainbow! 🌈

Pride is a celebration of authenticity, community, resilience, and love. It is a time to honor those who came before us, recognize the progress that has been made, and continue working toward a future where everyone can live openly and safely as their true selves.

This month, we celebrate our LGBTQ+ neighbors, friends, family members, and allies who help make our community stronger, more vibrant, and more welcoming for all.

Whether you’re attending events, supporting local organizations, sharing your story, or simply showing up as yourself, you are an important part of this community, and you belong.

We look forward to celebrating Pride with you throughout the month. Stay tuned for upcoming events, opportunities to connect, and plenty of reasons to come together in joy and solidarity.

Harvey Milk Day is organized by the Harvey Milk Foundation and celebrated each year on May 22, especially in California, in memory of Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist who was assassinated in 1978. Milk was a prominent gay activist during the 20th century.

Today we celebrate Harvey Milk on what would have been his 96th birthday. Hope will never be silent. Happy Birthday Harvey!
