Words can heal what silence cannot. Join the Women of Pearls CAF in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Tau Rho Omega Chapter, for Mind Over Mic, a powerful event featuring Spoken Word Artistry that uses poetry to spark meaningful conversations around mental wellness.

This experience will feature insightful dialogue with our special guests: Dr. Jade Hunter, Emon Hill, LCSW-S, Darion Rose, MA, LPC, Dr. John Saunders, and James Hester Sr., Certified Master Life Coach and author of “Think Better to Be Better: A Guide to Mental Wellness.”

The Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation, in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc Tau Rho Omega Chapter, is dedicated to making a profound impact through “Service to all mankind” by joining forces with Rho Nu Lambda to support the remarkable work of the L.I.R.A. Group. This visionary nonprofit is committed to empowering youth and young adults by fostering essential life skills through Leadership, Integrity, Respect, Accountability. The Journey, Next Steps program, spearheaded by L.I.R.A. Group, celebrated students with an unforgettable college sendoff, complete with all the necessary dorm essentials. We were truly inspired to provide college care packages to these deserving students.
