Strong Men, Strong Communities! Join us this Saturday, May 30th, 2026, for the 6th Annual King of Hearts event. Hosted by the Rouse Foundation and West Georgia Cardiology.

When: Saturday, May 30th from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Where: West Georgia Cardiology, 129 Bankhead Hwy, Carrollton, GA

What: Free health screenings (Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Glucose, and more), outside games, and a leadership panel discussion.

Note: Complimentary lunch is provided, but please remember: no food or drink after midnight (water only) for accurate screenings! Shirts will be on sale.

The Rouse Foundation proudly congratulates the winners of the 24th Annual Healthy Heart Essay Contest for 2026 whose theme was: “Energy Drinks & Your Heart: The Truth Behind the Buzz.” ✍️📝

Our First Place winner is Lyric Tate of Douglas County High School, who plans to attend Fort Valley State University this fall.

Second Place honors go to Dominique Green, who plans to attend University of West Georgia.

Third Place is awarded to Michael Brady, who plans to attend Mississippi Valley State University.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these outstanding students for their hard work, academic achievement, and thoughtful reflections on heart health and wellness. 💙

The 2026 Healthy Heart Essay Contest is dedicated in loving memory of Ms. Savannah Dunson, whose legacy of kindness, encouragement, and community impact continues to inspire others. 🕊️
