With the incredible help and support of the 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, our community came together to honor the life and legacy of 𝐉𝐚𝐱𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐲 through the first annual Jaxon Memorial Baseball Game. 💙⚾️
Two Lancaster baseball teams took the field, not just to play a game, but to play in memory of #13.
To honor a little boy whose life was far too short, but whose impact will never be. To honor the family and loved ones who carry his memory with them every single day. And to honor something Jaxon loved deeply, baseball.
What a turnout! What a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community chooses to show up. You had to be there to feel how powerful the evening was.
There were players on the field who never had the chance to know Jaxon, and some who did - but they all played with purpose. There were moments throughout the evening that made it impossible not to feel just how deeply this community remembers and loves him.
A life doesn’t have to be long to leave a legacy.
Jaxon’s #13 was more than a number last night. It represented a little boy who was loved, who mattered, and who will continue to be remembered.
We are incredibly grateful to every player, coach, parent, volunteer, supporter, and especially the Lancaster Youth Baseball Association for helping make this night possible.
This was about more than baseball.
It was about remembering.
It was about loving.
It was about showing up.
It was about keeping Jaxon’s light alive.
And as long as we continue to say his name, tell his story, and gather in his memory, Jaxon will never be forgotten. 💙
