Happy Principal Day to Mr. M!

Our school food pantry has been inventoried and we are in need of the following items: soups, canned chili, spaghetti sauce, canned sloppy joe mix, peanut butter, ravioli, SpaghettiOs, canned tuna, baked beans, and any other canned goods. This free pantry serves our community in a phenomenal way and we appreciate any donations. We have people that even utilize it during the summer. While we would never say no to any items, we have plenty of canned corn and green beans. Donations can be dropped off at the school anytime during school hours.

We recently had author and storyteller, Gary Hogg, come to our school. Here are some of the things we learned!

"Everyone's life is a bunch of stories. Ask your mom and dads to tell you stories. Stories are how we connect to each other, that's why our teachers are teaching you to write, so you can share your stories. Your author's voice is different than your talking voice. When you use your authors voice, you use more details."

The students and staff were captivated and we hope to have him come again next year.
