What began as a small nonprofit shop, working hand in hand with The Help Center of Federal Point that grew into something so much bigger—a place powered by generosity, kindness, and a whole lot of love. None of it would have been possible without this incredible community. To our neighbors, volunteers, donors, shoppers, and friends from near and far: thank you. You showed up, you gave back, and you made every day meaningful.
To the beautiful people of Carolina Beach, thank you for believing in the mission, for spreading the word, and for making The Island Cottage feel like home. Your support turned simple moments into lasting memories and good intentions into real impact.
Though the doors may be closing, the spirit of The Island Cottage—connection, compassion, and community—will always live on in each of you. We are endlessly grateful for the journey we shared and the island family we gained along the way. “
