We are so excited for the first installation of the Island Mosaic Totem public sculpture!!!

Kure Beach's totems will be installed September 21st!

We want to thank the Kure Beach Council, Friends of Kure Beach, New Hanover Arts Council and the Endowment for their support of the AMAZING community project!!

Please join us at the Ocean Front Park and Pavilion to see the beautiful artist-made and community-made totems that reflect the treasures of Kure Beach!

We are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual "Francine Hall Island Youth Artist Grant".

Support from our Buoy Sponsors has enabled us to award 2 grants this year!!!!

These grants are for youths under age 25 who live on our island. The grant award of $500 can be used to help with a special project, supplies needed for your artwork, or workshops/classes you want to attend.

We are here to support ALL our amazing artists in our community.

UPDATE: Workshop 9/22/2026 has 2 spaces left!

ATTENTION! We understand that the 2 upcoming Mosaic Totem Workshops times made it difficult for many people to participate.

The times for the workshops have been changed to evenings to make them more accessible.

We hope you will join us to make mosaic tiles for our Community Totems for CB Marina!!
