Carla has been a huge help, terrific 4-H leader, and someone you can ALWAYS count on! We are celebrating and awarding her 15 years as a volunteer! Thank you, Carla, and congratulations on all your achievements!

Top Notch Tuesday: Congratulations to Carla Schultz, Wheat Flour Sales Executive at Star of the West, on her appointment to the Michigan Wheat Program Board of Directors!

Carla brings a wealth of experience from across Michigan agriculture. In addition to her role at Star of the West, she and her family operate Eight Plates Farm and LaBair Farm near Mayville. She has also served Michigan agriculture through numerous organizations, including Michigan Farm Bureau, the Michigan Foundation for Agriculture and the United Soybean Board.

Just a reminder if you participated in the 4-H pumpkin decorating contest your pumpkins need to be picked up this Sunday between 3 and 4 pm from the court house in Caro!!

4-H member and volunteer awards are due TODAY! These awards will be handed out at the 4-H Banquet on Sunday, October 18th from 1:30-4 p.m. where we will have awards, pizza, and bowling! Please nominate those for awards with the link in the comments! And be sure to RSVP for the banquet with the link in the comments by Friday, October 9th.
