🤼♂️ BIG NEWS FOR CARO WRESTLING 🤼♂️
For the past four years, the Wrangler Wrestling Club and the Caro Growlers have operated as separate programs. Today, we changed that.
We are incredibly excited to announce that we are officially coming together as one unified club!
After some great conversations, we see completely eye-to-eye on the future of wrestling in our community. We firmly believe that the best way to build a powerhouse program is to have all of our kids training together under one roof, following the blueprint of the high school program.
What does this look like moving forward?
• K-8th Grade: All of our youth wrestlers will now train and compete together under the Caro Growlers.
• High School: Our high school athletes will continue to compete in the off-season under the Wrangler Wrestling Club banner, which serves as our dedicated high school off-season program.
What changes for Wrangler members?
Honestly, not much! We promise that the core principles, technique, and perspective you’ve come to expect from Wrangler aren’t going anywhere. We will still practice 2 times a week, with optional extra training days available for those looking to put in extra work.
This is going to be a smooth, seamless transition, and we couldn't be more thrilled to pull in the same direction. By uniting our rooms, we are creating a stronger environment for every single wrestler in Caro from kindergarten all the way through graduation.
We can't wait to get to work together! If you have any questions at all about the transition, please feel free to reach out directly to Coach Rocco.
Let’s get after it! 🐅💪
