Good friends, there's so much opportunity for you if you're interesting in trees and community! You could become one of the Arbor Day Committee's creative leaders! Arbor Day is always held on the last Saturday of April 2027. (I am passing the committee chair position to someone new, and that could be you!)

Are you interested in helping plan the next Carnation Arbor Day event? Our first planning meeting is Saturday, September 19th from 4-6 pm at the Carnation Library. Come join us!

With Soundfalls: the act of sharing far outweighs any pre-conceived notions about the outcome.

Call for artists! Are you or someone you know looking for an opportunity to play music for a good cause in a very stress-free and fun atmosphere? We're looking for an acoustic musician for Carnation's 2nd Annual Arbor Day on April 27. This is a family-friendly, folksy, festive afternoon in celebration of all things trees! Playing in the ever-popular Carnation is a feather in the cap of any blooming performer.

Details: the stage is on ground-level in an open-air shelter at Tolt McDonald Park. About 250 people will wander through between 10 am and 2 pm as they mingle, participate at booths, stop to listen, and move on. Playing time will be set in advance for 10-40 minutes, depending on the musician.

If you're interested, send us a brief paragraph about your offering to [email protected], or message us back here.

Thank you, friends, for spring is on the way and it's time to come out of hibernation and honor those tall green kin we so depend on!
