We are so thrilled to announce that all of our classrooms will now have Art Wednesdays with Ms. Aarika! 🎨

Giving our students dedicated time to create, explore, and learn from specialists like Aarika is such a wonderful addition to our program. We can’t wait to see what they create this year!

Meet Ms. Aarika:

“Hi! I’m Aarika, and I can’t wait to bring a little extra creativity to Mosaic Montessori. I’ve spent almost a decade teaching art and design to students of all ages at a public school and local art studio. I love all sorts of arts and crafts and am looking forward to exploring new materials, artists, and techniques with your young artists this school year. My goal for our art classes is to build excitement, interest, and skill through art exploration. I hope our projects bring you and your littles as much joy as they bring me!”

🌲 Forest School Fridays are here at Mosaic!

Every Friday, our Kindergarten and Elementary students will take their learning outdoors with our new Forest School Specialist, Brooke! 🍃

Forest School is a natural extension of Montessori, giving children space to explore, move, problem-solve, take appropriate risks, follow their curiosity, and build a deeper connection with the plants, animals, and changing seasons of the Pacific Northwest.

Meet Brooke! 🌿
Brooke has been teaching and leading outdoor education at forest schools throughout Western Washington since 2021. She completed the Youth Nature Instruction Training program through Wilderness Awareness School and is passionate about helping children learn at their own pace, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for the natural world. When she’s not outside teaching, you’ll find her cooking, creating art, foraging, dancing, playing in the rain, or snuggling her cat, Toast.

We are so excited to welcome Brooke to Mosaic and kick off Forest School Fridays! 🌲
