It's that time again! Showers are open Saturday, August 15th. Shower, rest, stay cool, have a meal and hot coffee. We'll be serving spaghetti & meatballs, mac & cheese, and garlic bread. The student hair stylists from the Paul Mitchell beauty school will also be there giving hair cuts.

We're open this Saturday, August 8th! Get a shower, get a meal, get cool! Breakfast will be sloppy joes, BBQ chicken, beef hot dogs and cheesy rice pilaf. There will also be cake to celebrate August birthdays. All are welcome!

We are collecting colorful backpacks and school supplies for local students experiencing housing instability. The 2026–2027 school year begins August 13.

We are especially seeking supplies for students in grades K–5, including:

1) Child-size backpacks and lunch boxes
2) Crayons, colored pencils, pencils, pens, and erasers
3) Glue sticks, pencil boxes, notebooks, and paper
4) Rulers, protractors, whiteboards, and dry-erase markers

All school supply donations are welcome. Items may be purchased online or at any local store.

Donations will be accepted through September 30, 2026. To arrange delivery of physical donations, contact Michelle Busath at (916) 524-3125.

Showers and services for our unhoused neighbors this Saturday, July 18th at Carmichael Presbyterian Church. Get clean, get cool, get fed, get a haircut (student hairstylists most third Saturdays). Breakfast will be Cowboy Casserole (ground beef, potatoes & other yummies) and Cheesy Garlic Bread.
