So happy to join in on the Back to School Bash at Galatia CUSD 1! We are wishing students and staff a safe and happy school year!
Galatia CUSD 1 would like to thank all of the wonderful volunteers who made this year's Back to School Bash possible. We are overwhelmed with the support that continues to pour in to help ensure every child has the best school year yet. We would like to thank Meghan Mitchell and her partners for completing over 50 sports physicals free of charge. Special shoutout to Sean Sloan, Debbie Patterson, and Bill Campbell for providing free haircuts, so that every student can start school feeling their best. Our appreciation to the Staggs family for a sizable donation of school supplies and backpacks. We would also like to recognize the following organizations for providing family resource information, school supplies, and community outreach:
Legence Bank, Future Leaders Family Fun Spot, Galatia Food Pantry, Galatia Dollar General, Wadi, ICHC, Integrated Care for Kids, Leo's Fitness, Early Childhood Collaboration, Hope Haven, The Guardian Center, Galatia First Baptist Church, Galatia Library, Galatia Fire Department, Egyptian Health Department, and Girl Scouts of America.
