Today, June 10th, our chapter had the incredible opportunity to attend the Illinois FFA State Convention!

During the convention session, we celebrated the many accomplishments of FFA members from across Illinois and were inspired by the impact that agricultural education and leadership continue to make.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was seeing Addy Lamont, Brooke Rahmoeller, and Johanna Zieren receive the Illinois State FFA Degree. This degree is one of the highest honors the Illinois FFA Association can bestow upon its members. This achievement reflects their years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to our organization. We are so proud of each of them and all the hard work they have put into earning this award!

Our chapter was also honored with the National Chapter Award where we earned a Bronze Chapter Award designation. It was exciting to see our chapter’s dedication to service, leadership, and agricultural education recognized at the state level.

To wrap up an unforgettable day, we enjoyed dinner together at LongHorn Steakhouse, sharing laughs, celebrating accomplishments, and reflecting on the memories we made.

Congratulations to our three girls and to our chapter and community for helping us be able to fulfill these achievements!

For everyone coming to the banquet tomorrow evening. We’re excited to celebrate with you!

Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, with the ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM.

Students should plan to wear official dress if they have it. Otherwise, jeans with a button-up are perfectly fine, and for ladies, jeans or a dress are both great!

Banquet is always a special night, and it’s the perfect way to wrap up the year together while celebrating everything we’ve accomplished. We’ll also be sending off our seniors as they head into their next chapter, and we can’t wait to recognize all they’ve meant to our chapter.

We hope to see everyone there for a great evening of food, memories, and celebration! 💙💛🤍

We had an awesome day on our FFA incentive trip! We took our top 40 highest point earners to The Thrill House in Marion. Everyone got to bowl, play putt-putt, jump into laser tag, and race go-karts. It was a day full of fun, laughter, and making great memories together. So thankful for moments like these and the chance to grow closer as a chapter!

Our FFA Barnyard this year was one for the books. Calling it “great” honestly feels like an understatement.

Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement from everyone who came out made all the hard work completely worth it. From the animals to the memories made, it was such a special experience for our chapter and community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, and to all the members who put in the time and effort to make it happen. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Add your Barnyard pictures in the comments!!

The officer team traveled to Springfield for Ag Legislative Day, where they had the incredible opportunity to tour the state capitol and sit in on a House of Representatives Assembly. During the visit, we listened to Representative John Cabello speak about important safety issues impacting the state of Illinois. Students were also able to personally thank government officials for their continued support of agriculture and FFA. One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was meeting with members of both political parties and gaining a deeper respect for those who serve in elected offices. This was a valuable and memorable day for our team!
