Today, June 10th, our chapter had the incredible opportunity to attend the Illinois FFA State Convention!
During the convention session, we celebrated the many accomplishments of FFA members from across Illinois and were inspired by the impact that agricultural education and leadership continue to make.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was seeing Addy Lamont, Brooke Rahmoeller, and Johanna Zieren receive the Illinois State FFA Degree. This degree is one of the highest honors the Illinois FFA Association can bestow upon its members. This achievement reflects their years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to our organization. We are so proud of each of them and all the hard work they have put into earning this award!
Our chapter was also honored with the National Chapter Award where we earned a Bronze Chapter Award designation. It was exciting to see our chapter’s dedication to service, leadership, and agricultural education recognized at the state level.
To wrap up an unforgettable day, we enjoyed dinner together at LongHorn Steakhouse, sharing laughs, celebrating accomplishments, and reflecting on the memories we made.
Congratulations to our three girls and to our chapter and community for helping us be able to fulfill these achievements!
