Our mission is to Protect the 2nd Amendment Rights of all Americans & to promote the safe, responsible ownership and use of fi****ms in Putnam County, NY.

Our Motto:: "Protecting Your Right to Protect Your Family". Putnam County is the safest, most well-armed county per capita in NY. You don't have to live in Putnam County to join and you don't have to be a member to attend meetings. PCFOA is a Second Amendment defense & educational organization and is open to all gun owners who support the right to keep and bear arms. Meetings are held @ 7pm the last Tuesday of every month at the Paladin Center, 39 Seminary Hill Rd., Carmel.

Members get first shot at Hudson Valley Shooting Sports gun store special deals. The store is open to members before & after the meetings.

Members can order ammo online, have it shipped to Hudson Valley Shooting Sports and pick it up with no transfer fee.

Buy a firearm online, out of state or at a show and have it shipped to Hudson Valley Shooting Sports. FFL transfer fee $25.00

Actively help to protect your right to protect your family

Legal & legislative updates

You don't have to live in Putnam County to join. PCFOA is a Second Amendment defense & educational organization open to firearm owners who support the right to keep and bear arms. You must have 2 sponsors who are members in good standing & be a member of New York State Rifle & Pistol Association (www.nysrpa.org) to join. Attend meetings to meet members & get sponsors. You do not have to be a member to attend meetings. PCFOA is the County Affiliate of NYSRPA which is the State Affiliate of the NRA. Once your application is accepted it will be announced at a meeting, voted on at a future meeting & you should be present at both meetings. Membership approval requires a two thirds vote by members present & a majority vote by the Executive Board.

Putnam County is the safest, most well-armed county per capita in NY & we want to keep it that way.

Meetings are at 7pm on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Paladin Center (www.paladincenterny.com) 39 Seminary Hill Rd., Carmel, NY 10512 (unless otherwise notified).
