We are thrilled to have our nonprofit organization highlighted by DJI. Chief Baker is a remarkable individual who has served his community and continues to contribute significantly to the drone community. Restricting DJI drones from organizations like ours would have detrimental effects on our communities. While we understand the concerns regarding military and defense organizations using DJI drones, such a ban would cause considerable harm. DJI is the only manufacturer that provides affordable and reliable drones for search and rescue operations. Notably, we have yet to receive support or outreach from American drone manufacturers willing to assist us. Instead, they propose purchasing their expensive drones and paying for additional software, which is unaffordable for small businesses, first responders, and nonprofits.
