The Westfield Police Department is proud to recognize Detective Linhsey Trinh, who was recently honored with the Cherish Center’s Above and Beyond Award! Detective Trinh’s dedication, compassion, and commitment to protecting children and supporting victims truly exemplify what it means to go above and beyond.

The Westfield Police Department was also honored to receive an award recognizing our agency’s tireless efforts toward ending child abuse. This recognition reflects the commitment of our detectives, officers, and professional staff, along with the incredible partnerships we share with organizations like the Cherish Center.

The Cherish Center is a Nationally Accredited 501(c)(3) Child Advocacy Center (CAC) founded in 2009. They work with a multidisciplinary team to provide a neutral, child-friendly center and 24/7 response to crimes against children in our area. They partner with law enforcement, Department of Child Services, prosecutors, and mental health and medical providers to intervene and help families find the resources they need.

Victims of child and elder abuse in Hamilton County will have greater access to specialized services around the clock through a new three-year partnership approved by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners.
