A huge thank you to Tech Medical for their incredible partnership during our June mission trip! 🙏
When two patients couldn’t be operated on due to medication restrictions, Tech Medical stepped in — returning to the Dominican Republic just a week later to complete two successful spine surgeries: a cervical and a lumbar fusion. 💪
Their team not only ensured these patients received the care they needed, but also sponsored an evening of lectures and fellowship for our Dominican colleagues — sharing knowledge, smiles, and an unforgettable meal together. 💙
We are deeply grateful for your commitment, compassion, and teamwork. Special thanks to Carlos Mercado, Tech Medical President for facilitating this collaboration. Together, we make healing possible.

🌍✨ Gratitude in Action: Mission Trip Recap – June 7–15, 2025 ✨🌍
We returned home with full hearts and renewed purpose after an incredible week of healing, learning, and connection during our Pediatric Orthopedic Project mission trip from June 7–15, 2025.
Thanks to the collective effort of our dedicated team—surgeons, nurses, therapists, medical students, and support staff—we were able to provide spine surgeries on 11 pediatric patients and 10 adult patients during our mission week. Two additional patients who were not stable during mission week received much needed spinal fusion surgeries several weeks after our mission. That’s 23 patients total!
Every smile, every small victory in the recovery room, and every hug from a parent reminded us why this work matters. These patients, many of whom live with complex orthopedic conditions, now have a brighter path forward—thanks to the collaboration between our volunteers and local healthcare providers who work tirelessly year-round.
🤝 This mission was not just about providing care—it was about building sustainable partnerships, sharing knowledge, and empowering local teams. We had several training sessions with local medical staff, ensuring that the impact of our trip extends far beyond our short time on the ground.
To everyone who supported this mission—whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word—thank you. You are part of every step, every suture, every success.
We’re already planning for our next chapter—and with your continued support, we’ll keep working toward a world where every child has access to the orthopedic care they deserve. 💙
