Making a better tomorrow by lending a helping hand today!

The goal of CYAP is to collaborate with the schools to identify children in need of services, assess the unique needs of each family referred, and then walk alongside the families while navigating the many services that exist in our community .The program will help families access services such as counseling for youth and families, youth anger management classes, parenting classes, mentoring and tutoring programs, food and clothing assistance, and camp and recreational opportunities. This program is free and voluntary, serves youth ages 3-17, and is supported by a comprehensive network including Hamilton County, City of Carmel, and Carmel Clay Schools.

While school is out for the week, our team is getting everything ready to make sure every family we support has a bright holiday season. To do that, we need your help!

We’re inviting community members, local businesses, and groups to become sponsor a child this holiday season. Your support ensures local kids experience the warmth and excitement of the season. 🎁

Another tutor match made offical! Meet our newest pair, Lina and Lauri, who are diving into elementary math. From multiplication, to fractions, and everything in between - we can't wait to see them crush some goals! ✏️📕

Behind every milestone, "aha!" moment, and confidence boost is a tutor who shows up week after week. 💛

This week is Tutor Appreciation Week, and we are endlessly grateful for the patience, care, and dedication our tutors bring to our students. What started years ago as a small Study Group has grown into our Summer Bridge Program and it's all because of how our tutors show up for kids. 📚✨

Over the past five years, our dedicated tutors have logged more than 1,700 hours sitting side-by-side with local students, helping them work through tough concepts, build skills, and grow in confidence.

Thank you to every tutor who has given their time to support our kids!

Meet "The Mentor Files", our new mini-series where we let our youth mentees take the mic. We asked mentees what they actually think about their mentors, and the answers are officially unfiltered. No filter, zero hesitation, and 100% honesty.

Hearing from a mom who feels supported and seeing her daughters get connected with after-school care and sports is the absolute best. Connecting families to the right resources and helping kids thrive in our community is at the heart of everything we do here!

Our neighbors at Carmel High School need our help! Their clothes closet is running low on NEW or gently used items in all sizes and genders. We need:

⭐️ Sweatpants
⭐️ Long sleeve shirts (generic/basic)
⭐ Short sleeve shirts (generic/basic)

If you have items to donate, you can drop them off at CYAP next week. Our office is located at 515 E Main St, Suite 127 in Carmel.

Drop off Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between 9:30am-2:00pm.

New mentor match alert!

Meet Noelle and Jessica! 🍕✨

These two hit it off right away and are ready to hang out every week. They are excited to see some Indiana Fever games and diving into the kitchen to share their cooking skills together.

To top it all off, they are both pizza fans and have officially decided to make it their mission to track down and rate the best pizza spots in the area.

We can't wait to see all the fun adventures (and taste tests!) ahead for this awesome match!

Huge thanks to Camptown for hosting a Family Fishing Day. It was wonderful to slow down, get away from screens, and enjoy nature together. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
