American Legion Marne Post 270 Carmel New York Second oldest American Legion Post in Putnam County New York.

Founded in 1919 mainly by returning members of the 3rd Infantry division, they named the Post after the Battle of the Marne River in France fought by the 3rd Infantry Division.
