Stevenson Junior Camp

Stevenson Junior Camp is a day camp program for rising Kindergarten–Grade 4 girls and boys.

The program is located on our beautiful Carmel Campus nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from the beach. Dates for Junior Camp 2020:
Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 31

8:30am-9:00am dropoff window - 3:00pm pickup
Daily aftercare option from 3:00-4:00 priced at $25.00 per day
Camp programs begin promptly at 9:00am

Stevenson Middle & Lower School Remote Summer Remote Camp is an online camp experience for girls and boys entering grades 1 through 9. Camp offers skill-building courses to keep kids connected to friends and school over the summer months.

Summer is finally here, and we are pleased to announce a host of opportunities for remote enrichment that will keep your children connected to one another and learning. Between June 22 and July 31, we are offering two-week courses for students in rising Grades 1–9 that will convene from 9:00–11:00 a.m. each weekday morning. All of our courses will be taught by Stevenson faculty. In line with our mission, these courses will be both educational and joyful.

While there are some courses restricted to Stevenson students, many are open to students from other schools, as well. Therefore, please feel free to invite friends and family to register along with your child. You can view all course information and register on our website.

Dear Stevenson Summer Camp and Program Families,

Although we had hoped to hold our scheduled camps and programs this summer, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel all Stevenson summer camps and programs on both the Carmel and Pebble Beach campuses. We are sad to disappoint our campers, employees, and parents, because we know that many have been looking forward to camp during this difficult time of isolation. Unfortunately, due to the necessary safety protocols put forth by the Monterey County Health Department in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our expectation that they will remain in effect for the coming months, we believe it is in everyone's best interest to announce this decision now, at the earliest opportunity to do so. Although we are sad, our top priority always is to keep our campers, employees, and community safe and healthy.

While we do not foresee any scenario that will enable us to safely conduct on-site camps or programs this summer, we are exploring virtual programming alternatives that will keep students of all ages learning, growing, and feeling connected. We will send you more information on these online offerings as they become available for your consideration.

Summer Camp at Stevenson lower school offers fun and educational experiences for rising kindergarten through rising fourth-grade children near and far. Nestled in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Stevenson Junior Camp offers programs designed for having fun while learning. Our full access to indoor and outdoor facilities allow ample play and learning space throughout your camper’s day. Stevenson’s dance studio, tech center, science labs, playgrounds, turf field, and classrooms are buzzing with excitement throughout the 5 weeks of camp. We proudly hire from within our community and offer an impressively low counselor to camper ratio. Stevenson faculty members and high school students from across the peninsula work diligently to ensure a safe, enjoyable summer and develop a memorable relationship with your camper. Our camp program is a place where children learn and grow while participating in a variety of educational and recreational activities. We strive to provide a medley of experiences for our campers, while keeping our camp fee at a NEW, more affordable rate.

Stevenson Pirate Camp combines traditional camp activities such as field sports and arts & crafts with educational activities. All campers participate in art, technology, theatre, summer academic support, field games and science daily with snacks, recess and lunch breaks in between. In addition to our Pirate Camp, Stevenson’s summer program at the lower school offers all-day enrichment camps such as swimming, technology, cooking, dance, surfing and instructional sports.

Ages Rising Kindergarten through Grade 4 boys and girls in our community are invited to attend Stevenson Junior Camp. Due to space limitations, however, Kindergarten Camp is open to enrolled Stevenson families only. Stevenson rising Grade 5–8 students can attend Summer Camp at the Pebble Beach Campus. Daily Schedule Drop off time is between 8:30 a.m.–8:50 a.m. Camp programs begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. After care is available until 4:00 p.m. each day of camp for an additional fee f $25.00 per day and can be requested when registering.
