The Carmel Woman's Club began in 1925. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit. We hold programs and lunches in our clubhouse twice a month from Oct thru May.

Our most treasured tradition is the beautiful tea which is served after each program. We hope you will join. The purpose of our organization is to promote through charitable giving, mutual help, intellectual advancement, social enjoyment and welfare of the community. We offer 12 programs and three luncheons a year to entertain, to inspire and to inform. Programs featuring guest speakers, or entertainers are held twice a month between October and May. A reception with tea sandwiches and desserts is held immediately after each program. This provides and opportunity for you to meet members and renew friendships.

Monday, October 19, 2026, Cecelia Romero, Vice President of Philanthropic Services inspired us by sharing how Community Foundation of Monterey County (CFMC) is making a positive impact in our community "one gift at a time". Cecelia shared the history and current philanthropy initiatives of CFMC with us. We also learned how to get involved by setting our own philanthropic goals. Following her excellent presentation, we visited over afternoon tea and sandwiches.

Monday, Oct 5, 2026 our new season began with Mayor Dale Byrne giving us a State of the City update. We welcomed the mayor with a full house of CWC members and community members.

There’s something very special about the friendships that grow through the Carmel Woman’s Club. 💙

For generations, women have come through our doors to gather, laugh, learn, lend a hand, and make a difference in our community. While the world around us may change, the importance of friendship, kindness, and connection never goes out of style.

Here’s to the women who came before us, the wonderful members who make our Club what it is today, and all the friendships still waiting to be made.

On July 26, 2026, Montage Health invited the Carmel Womans Club members on a private tour of Montage's innovative, nationally recognized Ohana Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center. It is an artful, expansive, impressive campus. We’re fortunate to have such a facility in our community.
