Last week, NPC hosted a “Sorority Women on the Hill” reception, allowing collegiate Panhellenic women serving as Capitol Hill interns to gather and network, hear directly from Panhellenic alumnae serving as elected or staff leaders and learn about ways to engage in NPC’s advocacy efforts.

More than 100 women attended the event, including Hill staffers and current/former member organization leaders.

Representative Erin Houchin (R-IN), Phi Mu - Indiana University, hosted and spoke. NPC’s CEO, Dani Weatherford, shared details about NPC’s updated student lobbying opportunities, such as the NPC Student Advocacy Fellowship.

📣 Applications are now open for the NPC Student Advocacy Fellowship!

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is launching a new opportunity for collegiate sorority women to help shape the future of the sorority experience through advocacy.

As a Student Advocacy Fellow, you’ll:
✨ Meet with a bipartisan slate of elected officials in Washington, DC and in-district multiple times a year to advance NPC’s legislative agenda
✨ Serve as a leader of NPC’s bipartisan student lobbying team to assist with training and development of other student lobbyists
✨ Assist with the development of educational resources about advocacy and NPC’s priorities for College Panhellenic communities

This fellowship expands NPC’s longstanding student lobbying efforts and creates a stronger, consistent student voice in conversations with elected officials and their staff.

Eligible applicants must be:
✔️ An initiated collegiate member of one of NPC’s 26 member organizations
✔️ Enrolled as a full-time student through at least May 2027
