💛 GRANT WINNER SPOTLIGHT: SHEA D. 💛

Shea’s story is one of incredible strength, survival, and hope.

At 37 weeks pregnant, just days before her scheduled C-section, Shea’s mom experienced a uterine rupture and placental abruption due to placenta accreta/percreta. She lost nearly all of her blood into her abdominal cavity, while Shea began to lose oxygen. During the emergency C-section, her mom coded from the massive blood loss.

Thankfully, an OB with experience in high-risk deliveries was just minutes away and was called in to help save them both. Her mom now calls his mother Shea’s “guardian angel.”

Six years later, Shea is a happy, funny, social, and incredibly loved little girl. Her family has dedicated countless hours to therapies and treatments, including approximately 16 stem cell treatments throughout her life.

This year, Shea’s family made another incredible sacrifice for her future, moving from New Jersey to Florida so she can attend the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, where she’ll work toward greater independence and everyday life skills. 💕

We are honored that the Light for Levi Foundation can come alongside Shea and her family during this next chapter. Her grant will help with accessibility needs at their new home, including widening their driveway so her wheelchair van and lift can safely access their home.

🌟 Grant Recipient Spotlight: Jaxson A. 🌟

Please join us in congratulating our newest Light for Levi Foundation grant recipient, Jaxson💛

Jaxson has a heart full of joy and a deep love for music and animals. Thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, this grant will help open the door to new experiences and opportunities that will enrich his life beyond traditional therapies.

Jaxson’s family plans to use the grant to help fund equine therapy, adaptive sports programs, and music therapy. They also hope to purchase an electric piano so Jaxson and his sister, Cayden, can enjoy making music together—a special dream for their family.

His family shared:

“We’d really love to use the funds for equine therapy, sports programs, and music therapy. We’d absolutely love to buy an electric piano that Jaxson and his sister Cayden would LOVE to play together. Jaxson absolutely loves music and animals. These extracurricular activities are just so expensive, and we’re unable to get him involved in much besides hospital therapies (which are fantastic!).”

Because of your generosity, families like Jaxson’s can access meaningful opportunities that support growth, connection, and joy beyond the walls of a therapy clinic.

🌟 Grant Recipient Spotlight: Owen H. 🌟

Please join us in congratulating our newest Light for Levi Foundation grant recipient, Owen!

Three-year-old Owen has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, but that doesn’t stop him from filling every room with his joyful personality. He is a happy, social little boy who has brought so much love and happiness into the lives of those around him.

This grant will help fund Owen’s trip in December to receive MUSE stem cell therapy, bringing hope and new opportunities for his future.

Owen’s family shared:

“We are so overwhelmed with gratitude for this amazing gift. We will be using this grant to help fund a trip for Owen to get MUSE stem cell therapy in December. You have helped to make this dream a reality, and we couldn’t be more appreciative!”

Because of the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, families like Owen’s can pursue life-changing treatments and therapies that may have otherwise been out of reach.

🌟 Grant Recipient Spotlight: Theo J. 🌟

Please join us in congratulating our newest Light for Levi Foundation grant recipient, Theo!

Every grant we award is made possible because of the incredible generosity of our donors and supporters, and we’re honored to walk alongside families like Theo’s.

This grant will help ease some of the financial burden by covering Theo’s ongoing medical expenses and helping pay down the debt from his NICU stay.

Theo’s family shared:

“This grant means the world to us. It will help us pay his ongoing medical costs as well as help pay down some of the debt we have from his NICU stay. We are extremely grateful to be on the receiving end of such generosity!”
