There are moments in the life of a community that reveal its character with unusual clarity. Spotlight on Art Benefiting Children has become one of those moments for Hamilton County. The event began with a simple hope: that art might serve as a bridge between beauty and compassion, drawing our neighbors together for the sake of those who need us most. The response from the community this year was an overwhelming success.

The success of this year's event allows us to give over $50,000 to local children’s charities. These are not abstract figures. They represent therapy sessions for children facing trauma, after-school programs that shape young lives, and services that surround vulnerable families with safety, stability, and hope.

The proceeds of Spotlight on Art Benefiting Children were given to three outstanding nonprofit organizations serving children and families across Hamilton County:
- Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville, which provides academic support, mentoring, leadership development, and safe after-school spaces for youth.
- Prevail, Inc., Hamilton County’s primary trauma-informed support provider for survivors of abuse and violence, including children and teens.
- Children’s TherAplay Foundation, offering innovative physical, occupational, and play-based therapies for children with developmental, emotional, and physical challenges.

Each of these organizations embodies the best of what we hope to be as a community: compassionate, courageous, and committed to the flourishing of every child. Spotlight on Art Benefiting Children strengthens their ability to continue that mission.

It has been said that a community is measured not by its wealth but by its willingness to share it. Hamilton County has shown, once again, that generosity is woven deeply into its identity. For that, I offer my heartfelt thanks—to our artists, patrons, sponsors, volunteers, and every resident who chose to participate.

The light we cast this year reached further than we could have imagined. May it continue to shine in the months ahead, illuminating pathways of hope for the children we are called to serve.

Jill Duzan Willey has been designing artisan fine jewelry since 2003. Inspired by nature, Jill expertly blends high-quality natural stones and metals with globally collected artifacts to produce designs that are culturally eclectic, modern, and easy to wear – she calls her style, “Rugged Elegance.” Carried internationally in very select high-end jewelry retailers and boutiques, Jill Duzan Artisan Fine Jewelry is designed to be mixed and matched, stacked and layered creating endless combinations. “My goal has always been to create jewelry that truly captures the natural beauty and individuality of every woman.” Jill began her career in interior design before expanding into jewelry design in the early 2000s. Jill has spent the past 15+ years researching and sourcing high-quality natural stones and metals for her designs. Many of the rare artifacts she weaves into her artisan pieces are still collected personally while traveling across the U.S. and internationally, specifically in Africa, Italy, Thailand, Bali, and India.
