Garland Ranch Regional Park Visit the free Garland Ranch Visitor Center Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Park trails are open every day from dawn to dusk.

Garland Ranch Regional Park is 3,464 acres of various habitats from the shady stream-side riparian and oak woodlands to the steep and rugged grasslands and hills of the Santa Lucia Range. The park is free to the public and is open daily from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset.

🌿 Wildfire Preparedness Work at Garland Ranch! πŸ”₯
From March 3–13, 2026, crews will be working around the Ranger Station & Cooper Barn to reduce wildfire risk.

What’s Happening:
πŸͺ΅ Chipping debris
⚠️ Removing dead/hazardous trees
βœ‚οΈ Increasing space between plants to slow fires
🌱 Environmental monitoring and pre-project surveys in place
Where:
πŸ“ Along Cooper & Rancho Loop trails and around the Ranger Station and Cooper Barn

Why:
Plant growth + decades without fire = more fuel. This project helps:
βœ… Reduce wildfire intensity
βœ… Improve forest health
βœ… Protect park structures & visitors

Visitor Info:
Trails stay open, unless temporary closure signs are posted! πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ
Expect crews nearby & changes to vegetation
