Fun day in Biggsville for everyone! 10U Navy picked up a couple wins and they continue to get better every time out, with school out, they'll look to amp up the practices and games to finish the summer strong. They'll head to Ft Madison next weekend for tournament play. As per usual, GREAT crowd and atmosphere for the girls on both sides today. Thanks to Greg Miller for doing the plate and a huge shout out to Coach Hippen for vacating his chair outside the fence to jump up and not only mark the field but also do the bases when he didn't have to do that. Thank you to all of the families that helped with concessions today, it was a hit as always! We have THE BEST parents!!! Couple of teams at it next weekend but before that, we have a local school playing in a BIG game tomorrow. Let's all cheer on the West Central Heat in their super sectional game tomorrow at 430 in Sterling, IL!!! If you can't make the trip follow along on game changer or, if we're lucky, Shawn Temple will have the play by play through WRAM, Radio Monmouth, we'll post that link once it's official. Play Fast Heat!! Let's get to State!

10U Navy will be on Doc Lindo Field in Biggsville tomorrow. Let's play TWO! First pitch at 11 and yes, the grill will be full of those Stronghurst Foods Pork Chops, and the stand will have all of the favorites. 8u and 12u had a great weekend. This 8u team is something else. Go watch them play if you get the chance. 12u had a really solid day in Biggsville today. A lot of girls executed things that they've been working on and others also made good adjustments as the day went on. We're pretty happy with how they're coming along. THANK YOU to everyone that helped with concessions today. Huge shout out to Don McKune for rolling in on his Harley and manning home plate today, he engages the crowd and helps explain rules to the girls, this is why we always grab him first chance. Our ump rolled in on a Harley and sported an American Flag shirt today, the list of those that do that is short. Thanks Don!! Our Warren County crowd was awesome today!! Cheering on their girls but being very respectful of the umpire and our team, this is why we like playing each other, we all grow the game when we play each other the right way. Have a GREAT Memorial Day tomorrow everyone, take a moment to be thankful for why we got to play this weekend.

Not sure who put up all of the little Stars and Stripes around Doc Lindo Field, but that was a nice touch for tomorrow, we're ready for a Memorial Day Weekend 12U DH! Join us for softball and great food. Pork Chops, Hot Dogs, Nachos, Macho Nachos, Pulled Pork Sammies, Taco Boats, we got you!! If you're driving by Biggsville and get that whiff.... it's from 200 West St. Big day tomorrow, Don Mckune is back in town and he's ready to get back into the softball season, engaging the girls, and the fans, while calling the balls and strikes!! It's a busy weekend but if you find yourself with a little free time head to Biggsville to watch the girls go at it, we'll feed you!

It's a great weekend for softball and we have 8U in Galesburg participating in a little RR today, then 12U will be in Biggsville tomorrow at 2 (and we're bringing the pork chops again!!). However, let's all take time this weekend to remember why we get to do these things today. Sacrifice is a stat in softball that seems a little less significant this weekend because men and women paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can play the game. Throwing this picture out of the OG's way back in 2018 at the Memorial Day Tournament that they used to have in Alexis "back in the days". Play would pause for the Memorial Day Sevice held just outside the fence.
