Truvy's beauty parlor is open, & taking appointments for the women who will fill it!!!

Set in a small Louisiana town, Steel Magnolias follows six women who gather to gossip, joke, argue, and hold each other up. Through weddings, hard days, and everything in between, they show up for one another every time. It's a play with big laughs, real heart, and some of the most beloved roles for women in American theatre.

6 Roles available to pay:

TRUVY, Owner of the beauty shop.
ANNELLE, Beauty shop assistant.
CLAIREE, Widow of the former mayor. Grande dame.
SHELBY, Prettiest girl in town.
M'LYNN, Shelby's mother. Socially prominent career woman.
OUISER, Wealthy curmudgeon. Acerbic but loveable.

Audition details
Dates: October 23 - Nov 3 (various times)
Location: at the PAC, 3000 West Church Street
What to prepare: 2 monologues for the character you would like to be considered (provided on our audition form)
Performances: February 4–14 at the PAC

🎄 FIRST REHEARSAL: CHECK! 🍗🎭
We officially kicked off Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) with our first table read and a Christmas dinner inspired by one of Japan’s most famous modern holiday traditions: KFC for Christmas! 🇯🇵🍗
Scripts were opened. Chicken was eaten. Characters started appearing. And the Christmas chaos has officially begun. 😂
One rehearsal down, a whole lot of Christmas still to come.
