8 years ago today my wife and I went with Oasis Prison Ministry to Lamesa Smith Unit for our first prison crusade. As I walked into the gym I was humbled, you see I’d been to chapel many times in this exact gym when I was incarcerated at Smith Unit. Many nights I’d cry out to God for change, reading my word and praying that someday I’d be who he called me to be. My beautiful wife singing worship with that anointed voice of hers the process to our purpose gave us the vision to go into all the jails & prisons we can sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone. We started our 501c3 Nonprofit Daved+Kathie Ministries when we got back from the crusade and stared the journey. We’ve seen 100’s of Salvations & have the joy of seeing 100’s of life’s changed. It is amazing how it all started and we thank God for our calling, our pray is God continue to send us to his people, there’s no stopping us.
