For many foster teens, having a trusted adult advocate can make all the difference - helping them navigate challenges, prepare for independence, and build a stronger future beyond the foster care system.

That’s why the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation is proud to support Champions for Health and its No More Breast Cancer / No Más Cáncer de Mama program.

Through a $7,500 grant, mobile mammogram screenings and breast cancer education are being brought directly to underserved residents in Barrio Carlsbad—helping remove barriers like transportation and affordability while encouraging early detection and prevention.

Programs like this reflect the power of local philanthropy in creating healthier futures for Carlsbad families.
