We are so excited to welcome Mr. Joe Shiery as our 5th grade teacher! We asked him a few questions so you can get to know him better:

Favorite Bible Passage: Psalm 98:4 - Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music.

Proudest Achievement: Self-Publishing my first piano book “Merry Christmas Ragtime” on Amazon. 🎶

One word that describes me: Dedicated!

Favorite Food: Authentic Mexican 🌮

What’s the most recent thing you’ve crossed off your bucket list: Teaching outside of the Midwest 😅

What are your interests/hobbies?:
I love writing music, playing video games, basketball and volleyball, and am the proud collector of over 600 different Star Wars books. 📚

Why CCA?: To say it was the Lord’s calling is an understatement. He has certainly blessed us in California, and we are so excited to be a part of the CCA family.
