• Learn the four competitive swimming strokes: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly.
• Learn proper starts and turns.
• Have the op

portunity to compete in swim meets in New Mexico and west Texas. Minimum Qualifications

• Age: at least 1st grade (6 years old min.)

• Have the ability to swim a continuous 25 yards, of any stroke – unassisted by floatation device and without stopping, touching the wall, the bottom or lane ropes.

NO TRYOUTS OR PRACTICE TOMORROW.

The Carlsbad High School Natatorium is currently closed for maintenance. Tryouts scheduled for next have been moved to Artesia. We will also be practicing in Artesia until the maintenance has been completed at the high school.
